Emily has been dancing since the age of 4 at Imagination Dance & Fitness and Niagara Dance Academy. Throughout her years of dance she has taken Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap. Since the age of 13 she has worked in the classroom as an assistant and has been mentored by many teachers throughout the years.  Emily has now been teaching classes for 4 years at Niagara Dance Academy, along with teaching summer dance camps and working in the office. 
Emily has attended teacher conferences and online CLI studio to continue to further advance her teaching techniques with younger students. 

“In the classroom I like creating a safe place for dancers to be able to express themselves through dance while learning technique. I love seeing my students begin to fall in love with dance and grow their technique throughout the year. From introducing ourselves on the first day of class, to cheering for them as they shine on stage! 
Growing up dancing and being at this studio has brought so much joy into my life over the years, and it is my goal to do the same for others.”
