Emily Filipchuk
Owner/Director

Emily has been part of the dance world since the age of 4, training at Imagination Dance & Fitness and Niagara Dance Academy. Over the years she has taken Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap, and at 13 she began assisting in the classroom. She went on to teach for 5 years at Niagara Dance Academy, while also running the front office and hosting summer dance camps. She’s also attended teacher conferences and completed training through CLI Studios to continue growing her knowledge of dance education.
After the passing of her mom Miss Gail, who founded Niagara Dance Academy, Emily stepped in to continue the studio, she now operates NDA. Emily is dedicated to providing a welcoming, supportive space where dancers of all ages can learn, grow, and have fun.
“I started teaching because I wanted to create a safe place for dancers — growing up, this studio was always my safe place. Now, as the owner, it’s become an even bigger part of my journey to make sure every dancer who walks through our doors feels welcomed, supported, and safe. Dance has brought so much joy into my life, and my goal is to share that same joy with others.”
